Considering a Integra Type s or SQ5
Hey guys, I'm looking to trade my f82 M4 in for a more comfortable daily car. I'm looking to switch because I don't really push the car all that often and it's really uncomfortable on long drives. Honestly just trying to get into a more comfortable car with sporty characteristics instead of full on sports car.
I'm looking at the Integra Type S because I really like the Exterior design and the reviews about it has been really good. I plan to go to the dealer this Saturday to check it out maybe get a test drive. The sales person told me the car is not selling here Roanoke because its middle of no where and they have 3 of them with big discount. Assuming 54k MSRP on those I bit I can get it for 50k brand new, which would be sweet. I also kinda miss the manual back when I had the f32 440i, really fun on mountain backroads. Not considering M340i because if I want a sedan I want manual. The dealer have another used 2023 SQ5 premium plus with 8.8k miles for 53k, MSRP 68k. What I really like about the SQ5 because they have option to get air suspension with the s sport package which this car have. Not considering X3M40i because I really want the air suspension for the long trips. Any other recommendations? 6-spd CT4-V Blackwing? Macan gts is kind of out of the price range unless mileage is super high and I rather have sq5 over macan s.

We have a 2019 SQ5 Prestige with Black Optics and Sport Diff options. My wife absolutely loves it and has gotten completely spoiled by the air ride and the acoustic glass. In my opinion, the Premium/Premium Plus just don't feel as "special" after having the loaded Prestige
The interior is fantastic, although everything is different than the BMW layout. My biggest gripe is the center console/arm rest/cup holder area. I have a hard time setting the arm rest to be comfortable and the sliding tray/phone charger requires anything in the cup holders that sticks up to be removed in order to access the small console storage area. The B&O is decent, but lacks low end bass, if that's a concern for you. It generally is good though, especially coupled with how quiet the interior is. The 3.0 turbo engine is definitely choked back by the factory installed tune, but has plenty of power to keep you satisfied for a while. Once that wears off, they are very responsive to tuning should you wish to add more power. Overall, neither of us regrets the purchase. We drove the SQ5 back to back with an X3 M40i and the Audi was a better driving experience in every way under daily driven conditions. |

Stelvio has gotta be on the table chief. The 2T is solid, the wife loves hers. It's the best driving SUV this side of a Macan and all the Audis look the same, kinda dull.

Stelvio is a riot to drive, even with the base engine. That said, it's steering is FAST, if you're doing long highway drives it might be a bit too hyper for that.
I hate air suspensions. They lose spring rate when they lower, which means they get less sporty when they look sportier. It's not a performance suspension setup at all. I would probably go X3 M40i. Or maybe stretch for a RS3. |

G80 M3. It's a LOT of fun, comes in a 6spd MT, and the sport seats are very comfortable and the EDC makes the ride nice and smooth when you want it to be. Not to mention the interior fit and finish is top of its class. I drove it home 800 miles from the performance center last year and it was a very comfortable ride. Drop it into sport mode and it'll become an edgy sports sedan. Best of both worlds.

I don't really trust the Italian reliability, as the only car I would be driving I don't want my car to be in the shop for months waiting on parts.
My budget is around 50k so g80 is out, ngl I rather keep my f82. I do lean on a CPO CT4 V Blackwing a little, but I'm gonna go see what the number looks like for the ITS first. CPO SQ5 is on the top of the list because I really want the air suspension, and don't mind scarifies some performance for the comfortability. Also it comes with S sport differential, so that will make up for it. I might try to find a CPO Macan GTS mid to high 50s, but that car probably will be high in mileage.

Jesus you Americans like to insure everything. Extended warranties make no sense unless the gearbox or engine has a habit of lunching itself and the drivetrain on these cars have been fine.
We just bought ours out after 4 years leasing, car was trouble free except for a power draw where it was trying to communicate with the keys. The base 2T is a STRONG motor, tons of power and torque, an din Dynamic mode it's a hoot to drive for a car on stilts. I mean each to his own, Stelvio is just an option but this fear, this just cold fear you guys have down there. Roll a dice for once. I mean an Audi, jesus, missionary position with the lights off. |

It's fucking brutal. By all reports an amazing muscle car but just freakin hideous. The previous gen was REALLY handsome. I reakon there's a HUGE aftermarket if someone made a previous gen front grille/bumper that fit the G80.

i'd say the ct4v bw is probably the best manual sport sedan on the market. if they had put the LT1 or 2 in there instead of the supercharged v6 it would be perfect.
but the audi's air suspension and interior are going to be leagues above.

Unfortunately these days 50k doesn't go as far as.it used to, especially for a "luxury" vehicle. Especially if you want it to be fast. Especially if you want it to also ride soft. |

Yes, I had that one in mind. The thing is it's really hard to find one, especially with 6MT. and I heard the haptic touch on the steering wheel along with touch control climate are a nightmare to deal with.
