Technical Campaign - Recall

My iX1 has an outstanding Technical Campaign recall to replace the charge control unit.
Booked in for next month.

Anyone else had recall?

I have the PHEV and had a recall in May for the combined charger unit but can’t remember the recall number.

How do you get informed of such recalls? Via the app or needs checking somewhere else?

Many thanks for the link!
No recalls for my VIN. Let's hope issues were fixed in 2024 models like mine.

I am having problems with comfort unlocking.
Technician connected remotely to my car, he told me about outstanding recall - first I knew about it

Had mine in today for a complimentary 12 month check, while it was in the front and rear lights gaps were checked and the intergrated braking system checked even though it wasn’t showing on the recall tool but it was on the BMW System, all 3 items were ok so nothing needed.

is this complimentary 12-month check only for new BMW vehicles in the UK? I don't think they do that in the US, other than the regular free oil changes every 12 months.

by the way, I have a car panel gap measuring tool like the one in the picture below. I always bring it when I'm taking delivery of a new car, just to make sure all the panels, lights, doors, etc., are lined up properly. Bought it for about $3 off Amazon several years ago...after a Mercedes dealer implied that I was the one who caused mis-aligned rear door a 1-week-old new Mercedes.

I don’t think all dealers offer this, I think it’s because if they find anything they can get the warranty work. The dealer I bought the car off didn’t contact me, it was a local dealer where I had a recall done.
We don’t get a free 12 month oil change, servicing is 2 years or 20000 miles which ever comes first.

Good idea about the panel gap tool.
