TMAP Sensor Location -X1 M35i
In case anyone else happened to be wondering, getting to the TMAP in our cars isn't too challenging. You need to remove the air snorkel at the front of the engine bay to access it.
Remove the 2 leftmost bolts (1 & 2). Then you can pop out the clip above where the snorkel joins the air box (3). Then the snorkel will pull straight up to come out. For more visibility, you can also remove the airbox bolt to give it some flexibility to move (4). Once this is out of the way, you can find the sensor under a silicone hose that runs across the area almost under the front left corner of the airbox (when facing it, below 3 on my photo). If you want to save the work, here are also some photos of the sensor. I have reached out to Burger Tuning to confirm if a JB4 or JB+ will work for our cars and if so which is the correct configuration. I will report back on what I hear.

For those interested there is no JB+ option coming any time soon at least but there is a JB4 option that should work for our cars. I’m considering going that route but not pulling the trigger just yet.
Here is the link for those interested. https://burgertuning.com/products/bm...gen3-jb4-tuner
