X7 M60i "starter battery is severely discharged"
Hi everyone. Last night at around 9:30 PM, I got a warning on my bmw app saying that the starter battery is too low and that I have to drive it for 30 minutes. I went into the car and everything worked fine. Like keyless entry, etc. but when I started the car, it didn’t start right up. It said “starting engine please wait” and then it started normally. I don’t know if this is a software glitch like the one from May of 2023, or an actual issue with the car. Please see the screenshots attached.

Cold where you live? Haven't driven in a while? Could be the 12V battery is lower than it should be. I just ran and threw a tender on mine just to be safe!

No everything was closed and the car was used in the morning as well. The temperature wasn’t even that cold.
