Seat memory?
We have the car set with position one to me, and positon 2 to her.
We are both using the digital key so the car recognizes her as me, in terms of BMW identity. When the set is set to position 1, I have to repeatedly press the #2 button to get the seat to go all the way back. Neither a short or long press of the button seems to do the trick. Does anyone else have this issue? |

Create a separate BMW ID for her.
Add her as a secondary driver to the car by going to the user settings of the car (icon on top right of screen or the apps screen). Associate your ID with your phone/digital key. Send your digital key to her phone number (share the digital key with her). Take your phone inside and leave it out of range. Go pick her phone up, go back to the car and associate hers to her ID. When you approach car, it’ll recognize you and go to YOUR memory 1. When she approaches the car, it’ll go to HER set of memory settings. If both of you approach, primary driver is selected. Just in case you need a refresher on creating an ID… https://faq.bmwusa.com/s/article/Acc...anguage=en_US# |

This doesn't always work as intended for me. If my wife gets to the car before me, entering on the passenger side, it will load her profile and not always automatically switch to mine when I open the driver side door. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't and I have to manually switch profiles. If I open the door first it works as intended.
Not a big deal. I am much more annoyed at the seat not setting itself properly when I drive after she has driven the car. The seat goes into a third weird position instead of my preset or hers. I simply press the 1 button and it then goes to my settings but I shouldn't have to. This is pretty consistent any time I drive after she has driven it. |

Oddly, had this same issue on my Skoda Superb with refusal to correctly set seat positions and having to hold the button to force it to set. |

Press and hold, it still only moves an inch. I have to press it at least 5 times before the seat goes all the way back to my position. Ah the first world problems |

To be clear- we need to logout of my BMW account on her phone, and create a new account for her. Separate login, etc...yes? |

Yes, new my BMW account for the other driver. Ensure they have a digital key plus on their phone. Then bring their phone only into the car and link their id with the digital key.
