On the new 11/23 update i got a notification that we got new light animations for 50 USD from the connected store shop, i dont intend to but them but i want to see what they look like on the x1, but there are no videos. the only ones i have seen are for the new x7. just wanted to know if someone could show me or if they dont work on x1, thanks.

nah sadly my car leaked all my blinker fluid out and my service technician said its for a cleaner more BMW-like driving experience

though let me know what its like with those wierd orange things

I don't think the X1 actually gets the feature or at least not seen anything in the store about it either yet. Maybe the X2 with the new grill might?!?!

My '23 A4 Allroad came with this "feature"...at least it was embedded in the price of the vehicle. I wouldn't go out of my way to spend $50 on it

It seems if you have ID9 and the premium pay BMW more money subscription then you CAN do this and select various different light start patterns.

Is this confirmed ID9-only? Popped up on my 03/2024.40 update this morning, and I can't find a way in ID8 to change anything. Pretty sure someone had posted details of the menu options to change the animations, but can't find that post now
