Dyno pull

I got a chance to do a few pulls at a COMSCC event in NH today. The first 3 pulls were in 4th gear. The last pull was in 5th gear with an error on the dash about temps under the hood being high. Stock tune with a catless AA single midpipe.

Sounds about right. Did they not have a adequate fan setup?

I'm not qualified to answer that question, but oil and coolant temp was normal.

I originally believed the warning was related to a component being too hot, but after doing some research, it appears to have been a safety warning, because the hood was open when the motor was at operating temperature. Others have reported getting the same warning when opening the hood to top off fluids etc. I haven't done any tests to confirm this.

Agh car may not of been in dyno mode sending the traction control into panic mode. If the car doesn't see the front wheels spinning it freaks out. Odd it took so long usually this happen after the first pull.

Go it so it was just a hot engine warning code.
