Between G87 and G82 CSL there are no hardware differences in the engine and gearbox. I compared my G87 VIN with a CSL in a parts catalog: Piston, conrods, crankshaft, engine block, cilinder head, camshafts, intake, turbo, injectors, gearbox..etc.
All part numbers are identical

Most definitely, the G87 S58 (which is built the same) can handle a boatload of boost without touching the internals, well more than what any OEM version has.
