Some unknowns about the 'black weekend'.
It could be argued that FIA rule changes 30 years ago to make the cars more 'exciting' for the fans may have contributed to drivers and teams setting cars up to beyond safe levels.

Not only Senna but of course Ratzenberger killed after his front wing disintegrated sending his car out of control then before Barrichello unconscious after hitting a kerb wrong ending upside down after launch into barrier swallowing his tongue and he was close to suffocating if not for quick action by track side medics.
Why did those cars set up's take on such death wishes... |

It was newly elected Max Mosley as President then, shouldn't talk ill of the dead but his first stint wasn't very good about bringing in measures to take away safety measures from the cars to make it more exciting for fans.
