Lightbulb Dinan X-Pipe Installed

Installed the X-Pipe. The fit and finish is first rate.

Really amps up the sound. Much deeper, but no rasp or drone.

Combined with the intake, the car is definitely more responsive.

Have any sound clips? I was so close to going with the Dinan and would be interested in hearing it. I ended up going with PSI which should be delivered this week.

Here's a video on youtube that's not a Dinan. This is just the midpipe - no other mods. Has stock/Dinan vids, revs + drive bys. Nice up close video of pipe, too. Looks very well made, not that I expected anything less from Dinan.

You can definitely hear it's louder & much deeper than stock (6:40 has stock/dinan open/closed revs comparo.)

Congrats, on the new X-Pipe, quality is exceptional from Dinan.

I think this may be the route I am gonna go. I am interested in the MAD midpipe & exhaust, but one big Dinan advantage is - their products are in stock. heh heh

I wonder why Dinan doesn't do a single midpipe... I'd be interested in that.

I have seen other folks comment on the Dinan that one thing on the sound that may not come across in videos - it's tone is deep. I am a fan of the deeper exhaust notes vs some of these raspier sounds I hear coming from other brands. Still sound good - I just like the deeper tones better.

Tell you what - that M Performance exhaust on my F87 was just wicked sounding. A little drone-y at highway speeds, but it was mean as all get out. I'll be chasing that sound for a long time.

Its better to be unique and have a different target audience. the single midpipe market has enough options to pick from. Adding Dinan to it will only lower everyone's profits.

Howdy Mike,

Wondering if another mfr's single midpipe could be matched to the Dinan exhaust. (AA, MAD, etc...)

Dinan has always matched with the single midpipe on other platforms with minor adjustments.
