For those who did bimmertech with amp upgrade
How would you rate it if you assume stock HK is a 1/10 on the audio scale, and say a burmester or mark levinson type OEM upgrade is a 10/10?
i am not looking for overwhelming bass as i have kids, just want rich quality sound with a nice thump/hit from the base…well balances sound profile i guess |

I just had the subs in my 22 X3M and it was marginally better but not worth the cost IMHO. I did have the all the other BavSound speakers but returned them before install since the Subs were so unimpressive.

I just did the subs and amp install. I did the subs first and it was noticeable. I did the amp and got the volume i was looking for and now feel that the other HK speakers will need to be replaced but for the time being very happy with the outcome.

Never tried Bimmertech, but had the Bavsound stage 1 and ghost subs in my F80 and it was a nice upgrade.
It was a lease so I really noticed the difference after going back to stock a few days before turning in the car. I actually ordered the full kit for my M4 but I never found the time to install it.
