differential replaced due to knocking noise at low speeds

Hey guys, wanted to post about my recent repair at the dealer...
I've been noticing a knocking noise al low speeds when taking foot off from the accelerator. (esp. in stop/go traffic)
This was only happening when the car was warm and driven for a while.
I was worried about bushing/bolt issue, but my in my case the noise was different from what was usually described.

Originally, the dealer pointed out that the transfer case might need some locktite, but ended up replacing the differential. This resoled the issue. (and I was lucky this happened before my warranty expiration, which happen to be in about 3 weeks

hope this helps in case someone notices similar symptoms. (my X3MC is under 30K mi)
