bmw x1 trim and suspension option advice

Hi all , sorry , i know its probably been asked a dozen times
Looking for advice and getting conflicting info from used car salesman ! looking for a used 2.0l x1 2016-18 roughly. I currently have an old 325i sports touring love it but at 23 years old....
Has to be petrol as short drives mostly. Dont mind the "look" of any of the x1 variants but want the sports seats so unless they're a rare option on the se or xline appreciate its likely a sports or m sports x1 I will be going for.
I understood it that the m sport has a stiffer suspension than the sport ?

The sport has the same suspension as the se and the xline?
salesman said sports and m sport the same suspension .
Whats the case here please?

Test drove an m sport - for the best part of an allowed 2 whole minutes - almost pointless , and was shown on the suspension options DDC dynamic damper control -sports or comfort , but couldn't feel any difference on my epic 2 minute test drive.
Does DDC make an m sport less of a hard ride ? soft as xline / se ?
If it's on the display does it definitely have it? or could it be its on all displays whether an installed option or not?
many thanks

You might want to post this in the UK forum, too. Most of us here are Yanks and y’all’s option arrangements are much different than ours.

No idea if it's the same in the UK, but here in the US the base F48 X1 28i and the M-Sport 35i trim did have the same suspension, so I'm thinking there is a good chance that is true for you, as well.
