What is not possible? That the spoilers fit the M35i and other X1 or removing the OEM spoiler?
As long as the spoiler is designed for the M-Sport trim, it will fit the M35i and any M-Sport X1. And yes, it is possible to remove the spoiler from the car |

There is no difference in the shape of the front bumper between m35 and m-Sport trim. If you are referring to the REAR spoiler, then you need to find a spoiler made to be compatible with the new M-sport pro trim. EDIT: with all new builds since the introduction of the M-Sport Pro package, there is no visual difference in the rear spoiler between M35 and M-Sport pro package-equipped X1. The only difference is the gloss black diffuser lip by the exhausts (the M35 has quad exhausts) |

In picture 1 you can see the front bumper for he M35 and M-Sport trim X1s
In picture 2 you can see that the diffuser lip differs between the M35 and the M-Sport trim due to difference in exhausts In picture 3 you can see the front spoiler, which is by default installed on the M35, but can also be installed on any M-Sport trim X1 |

i am not talking about the splitter. you have to be an absolute goofy to remove the oem spoiler to put on a spoiler cap. It would look beyond awful. Also, the oem spoiler is different if you look.

There are two types of rear spoilers currently available. The one introduced at launch, and the one introduced with the introduction of the M Sport Pro pack. The latter does NOT differ between M35 and the newer M Sport pro trims. The rear spoiler available at launch is different from the new one. You should be clear about what you’re referring to. Also, where exactly is the OEM spoiler (the front one) different? |

If you read carefully, I said specifically, for the newer one (which is the m35 rear spoiler), you will need to look for the new M Sport Pro package version. What you are showing on the m35 is the newer one I’m referring to. The Maxton design rear spoiler fits the original spoiler at launch of the X1 aka the M Sport trim before the Pro package was made available. Please read before you call out someone |

Your post title say “M35 spoiler”. Be clear that you’re referring to the rear spoiler. You can clearly read that all my answers were referring to the front spoiler until you started talking about “sharp edges”. That’s when I asked if you mean the rear spoiler. Easier to be clear from the beginning Also, just to be crystal clear, that spoiler design you’re showing is also available on all new X1 if you opt for the M Sport Pro Package. Not only M35, as you can see below on the iX1 |

But the main point is that he now knows the M35 spoiler is the same as the spoiler available on any X1 model equipped with the M Sport Pro Pack (not to be confused with the M Sport pack). As long as he finds a spoiler compatible with M Sport Pro pack, then it will fit the M35 without issue. The Maxton design spoiler he referred to in his screenshot is not compatible with the M35 spoiler (yet). |

All good. I rarely post anymore since I’m content with my X1 for the time being and have no plans to modify it further. Since my lease is half over already, I’ve already been dreaming of the next car which will likely be my mid life crisis sports car lol.

The G87 M2 has really grown on me, but also considering an F87(preferably an LCI), or the Toyota Supra. I always told myself that one day I’d own an M, and hopefully next year is the year it happens lol. But we’ll see, since I’m also starting a new business this year so it depends on how quick I can get it running positive income.

The supra is also an excellent option, but the G87 (imo) is the better buy Best of luck with your new business! 🤞🏻 |

It’s a really polarizing car as far as the bumper designs go, the press photos really don’t do it justice compared to seeing it in person though. Sat in one at the dealership last week and that was actually the first one I’ve seen in person.

The photos really don’t do it justice. I’ve seen a few on the road now, and every time I do, my head is locked on them. Beautiful car! Even in Zandvoort blue (which I think looks great!)
