Yesterday I picked up my X1 from the collision/auto body shop. I was rear-ended by an impaired driver in April.

It was an inconvenience. And I will be going to the court hearing to make sure this person gets some sort of punishment, because he could have killed someone.

The silver lining to getting these (thankfully, minor) repairs done: the body shop detailed the car while she was with them! Everything was like new inside.

After driving my husband's older Volvo S60 while the X1 was in the shop, I appreciate her much more now. The handling, power, and infotainment features plus the very convenient lift-gate are really growing on me.
