iX1 iDrive 9 radio turn off issues
Hi there,
I'm trying to use the voice command in my iX1 iDrive 9 system to turn off the radio but failed. When my radio is one, I said "Hey BMW, radio off", the voice command reacted and prompted that the radio will be off. We can see the speaker icon is crossed (which means mute) but the radio is still on (we can still hear the radio is still broadcasting). We also tried to use the Music button (right side of the steering wheel) to access the radio function and mute it, but it also failed. As said, we can see the Speaker icon is crossed but the radio is still broadcasting. Those functions used to work for my car but it was recently which those functions do not work. We tried doing the same for Bluetooth music and everything works fine. Both voice command and the Music button on the steering wheel can turn off (or mute) the Bluetooth music. No issue. Thank you! |

My ID9 disconnected both phones sequentially as tried to call out, one after the other. music icon still illuminated.
in the end had to delete both phones and reinstall. a disaster system at the moment. |

I'm ready to call my dealership and ask for my old car back- not even joking. why am I paying $650 a month for a car to not function properly? I don't think the dealership could install a patch to get this fixed |
