Has anyone figured out how to remove the rear wiper?

Seriously, I just ordered a replacement and I don't want to yank it off and break it. I didn't find any videos specific to the U11 on YouTube.

EDIT--I found this thread and this post (I guess I should have searched), but I'm still unclear how the blade detaches from the plastic clip that slides off.

I think a new blade assembly should also have a new plastic clip?
Something like this: https://wiperhaus.com/products/2016-...ar-wiper-blade

The one I bought is exactly like this. I can't figure out how the blade gets separated from the clip that slides off the arm? This is an F48 blade; 18 months later, I still can't find any definitive source that says F48 blade will fit on a U11. Parts websites are all inconsistent.

bumping to see if there are any updates. I'm just hesitant to pull too hard to remove the wiper blade from the attaching clip because I just can't tell if it's supposed to be detached. I don't want to break it.

I'm due for annual service soon and I definitely don't want to pay the dealer price for a rear wiper PLUS labor to replace it.

just took off my rear wiper to show you how I did it...

simply pull down on that tab and gently(but firmly) pull the wiper straight out.... it comes off quite easily.

when installing the new one, push the new one in gently and make sure you hear a "click" sound.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I cannot find a replacement wiper that has that clip on it. I can remove the wiper from the arm, but does the wiper separate from that clip that slides off? Or does the replacement include that clip? And if the replacement includes the clip, where do you order it from? Even BMW's OEM parts do not show this.

I just realized what you were asking... to be honest, it was a couple of months ago. Can't remember if the wiper came with that clip above. I'm 99% positive that I didn't have to remove the old clip and putting it on the new wiper. I bought the 3 wipers at the same time(front left/right and rear) and I was installing in a hurry in the rain after picking them up from the BMW dealer.

I can confirm that it's the same BMW part number that FZI89 posted above.

According to this diagram, the clip which slides off the arm is part for the part identified as "#3: SKU: 61-62-9-478-894. I'm glad I didn't try to pull the clip off of the blade....
