Has anyone figured out how to remove the rear wiper?
Seriously, I just ordered a replacement and I don't want to yank it off and break it. I didn't find any videos specific to the U11 on YouTube.
EDIT--I found this thread and this post (I guess I should have searched), but I'm still unclear how the blade detaches from the plastic clip that slides off. Last edited by tex2670; 05-28-2024 at 06:56 PM.. |

I think a new blade assembly should also have a new plastic clip?
Something like this: https://wiperhaus.com/products/2016-...ar-wiper-blade |

bumping to see if there are any updates. I'm just hesitant to pull too hard to remove the wiper blade from the attaching clip because I just can't tell if it's supposed to be detached. I don't want to break it.
I'm due for annual service soon and I definitely don't want to pay the dealer price for a rear wiper PLUS labor to replace it. |

just took off my rear wiper to show you how I did it...
simply pull down on that tab and gently(but firmly) pull the wiper straight out.... it comes off quite easily. when installing the new one, push the new one in gently and make sure you hear a "click" sound. Last edited by SnowCover; 09-29-2024 at 11:21 PM.. |
