Hi all, I am happy to join this forum after years of lurking!

Just wanted to ask whether a 2024 model X1/X2 will be eligible for the Parking Assistant Professional upgrade/add-on or if a 2025 model would be required. I’m struggling to find out whether this is a simple software installation (which a dealership could offer) or if a 2025 model (with necessary new factory hardware) is required.

I am grateful for any information or thoughts.

If the car is running iDrive 9, then it’s upgradable. If it’s running iDrive 8, then it’s a big maybe. We have to wait and find out

Just keep in mind you have to have parking assistant plus and comfort access in order to be eligible to upgrade
