Brakes and wheels upgrade for U11. Made the switch to 4 pots
After installing the M Performance brake, the vehicle benefits from larger, 360mm front and 330mm rear ventilated discs, paired with more powerful four-piston front and single-piston rear calipers.
The Flow-Formed wheels, featuring a Y-spoke design in a striking Satin Bronze finish, improve the appearance and offer a wide viewing window for the calipers, but also contribute to reduced unsprung weight, further enhancing handling and responsiveness. As usual, I couldn't help taking it out for a photo sesh, because we're proud of every successful iCARMIX install. By the way, did you know that tyres have some of the most volatile prices of all parts? They keep fluctuating from one day to the next! https://icarmix.com/product/genuine-...9-x2-f60-mini/ |

No error from TPMS, but be advised, this brake kit has a known issue between the rear caliper and the handbrake. We are waiting for BMW to fix it, and it's not related to the question you were asking. Having said that, I can tell you for sure there was no fitment issue. And unfortunately don't have any other photos. When I do an install we take a certain number of photos for reference (sometimes before and after) and then let the customer pick up his car. When BMW fixes the issue with the rear brake, and have another installation on this model, I'll be sure to take some to share with you. In the meantime, send me a couple of snaps of an angle you'd like to see from, just to make sure I understand what you're asking for. |

255 tread width will not be an issue for fitment as far as width goes. Like I said in your other post, the suggested diameter of the tires is 704mm, these are 713mm, which means your speedometer will be off. The more important factor when fitting wheels is the width and offset of the wheels themselves, which will have more of a factor in determining what tires will fit.

Do you have a part number? I don’t recall seeing OEM cross drilled rotors for the F39/48 in the US, so curious how these are oem but sized for this model? Are you saying any 360x30 rotor works?

Well I don't know about "any" but we did use a 360X30mm genuine one in this case, and it fit perfectly

You didn’t answer his question. Is the cross drilled rotors you used an official OEM BMW part? If yes, can you provide a part number?

Answering his question would have been "No, they are not OEM. They are "genuine"". Genuine is ambiguous. Are they an aftermarket offering by an OE supplier, is it the name of an aftermarket company? There was no clarification. People on this forum may not be interested in purchasing directly from you as you seem to be in Hong Kong, and sourcing these locally might be more cost effective to us. Hence why the questions are probably being asked.
