My BMW app 4.7.1 annoying bug

I updated the My BMW app yesterday to 4.7.1 and noticed a very annoying and persistent bug that is affecting the onboard notifications and navigation system:

When you send a location from the app to the car, this location will be sent to the car as normal, but this now keeps happening every time you get back in the car and you will keep getting a notification about it.

I’m fairly certain this is an issue from the app rather than iDrive OS as this only started happening since the update to the My BMW app.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hopefully they fix it soon. Very annoying! Especially since the automatic suggested destination now no longer works

The same thing was happening in my M4 a little while ago - maybe 3 months. Lasted for a couple of weeks and then fixed itself.

Sorry, I should add that that was on iDrive 7, not iDrive 8.

The issue seems to have fixed itself this morning. Hopefully it doesn’t come back later
