How accurate is BMW tracker

So the tracker went from "scheduled for production" to "production begins" to "paint shop" then to "at the port". It's been at the port for over 2 weeks. Is this normal?

Did you call your BMW salesperson and get the name of the ship? it's much more accurate to track the ship. Any competent BMW salesperson can get you the ship name in a matter of minutes. If not, call BMW USA and they can tell you as well.

In fact, the ship carrying my X1 was already on a ship when the BMW tracker showed that it was still at port. I tracked the ship and it was already somewhere in the Atlantic.

Thx I'll try that. The salesperson said it was at the port also a week ago. I'll check with him again.

When mine was ready I. December 2023 it sat for 15 days at the port in Germany before being put on the designated ship.
You can watch the ships progress along the way.
