2024 X1 Engine start delay
I have the 2024 X1, when I start the car, it seems there is a small delay. Is it normal for the new BMW cars? I have another 2016 m235i, it's not like that and it just start the car right away.
FYI, the X1 battery reads 12.5 V when I measure it this morning. *I called the dealer and they said the delay is normal. They also said I can't measure the battery and it will void the warranty, LOL. |

When you say “seems there is a small delay” do you mean engine wise or that the ID9 computer system takes awhile before information shows on the screens?
For my 24 X1 28i, the engine starts right away however the computer takes a little longer to boot up. Completely normal in modern vehicles. As a note, my 19 Acura RDX takes much longer to boot up than the X1. |
