I have little use for the cargo cover since my dog rides in the cargo area. I know how it is removed. My question is does it fold in half and is there anyplace to store it when not in use. Thanks.

It folds in half but does not fold completely flush and no it does not store away in the x1

Thanks. Too bad it was not designed to fold completely in half that way storage would be less cumbersome.

I don’t think you’re talking about the same thing. The cargo floor cover folds in half, the cargo cover that sits just below the window does not, unless that’s a change made to new models.

If it hasn’t changed since I got my ‘23, then it does not fold.

Edit: rereading this, I realize I was mistaken with how I read the other post. It does fold, but not in a way that would be beneficial for storage purposes, and it won’t fold flat. Basically just a hinge.
