Hello All,
I am new here, and Ive been following many posts and learning. New to BMW world with my two month old X1M35I. Its been a great experience so far and enjoying the ride. I have a question about the Security System Equipped in the car. How good it is and sensitive about any impact or even monitoring in the parking lot etc. Does any one have a good or bad experience or can suggest for an upgrade to anything better. I am also planning to Install a Dash cam, i wish BMW had a tesla level of Security system equipped in terms of capturing when needed.Ive tried the BMW app to check surroundings of my car parked feels good but is it quick and enough to have a greater protection on ur car. Please let me know.

We have a second alarm (quiet) and 24/7 control at the MI App. Build at the dealer. Alarm from Moving Intelligence
I was necessary for the insurance.

When the BMW alarm goes off, the 2nd alarm also activates. The center console is blocked and therefore it cannot be started. Everything in the center console is blacked out.
Just call, provide your password and the X1 will be unlocked. This alarm also activates when towed away

The dascam are fitting in the interior mirror.
A small camera was also mounted inside the top trunk

I fitted a FitcamX brilliant so far. Can't even tell its there and easy to fit.
