Any recommended PPF installers for the Ottawa (Canada) area. I need to have PPF installed on my new Z4.

It's actually super easy to do yourself,

I have used Derand for both of my BMWs (5 and 3 series). Excellent job

This spring I'll do my recently purchased M8C.

Will do. The ppf won't be done until mid-March once the new Z4 arrives. A couple of others have also recommended Derands. Others have recommended Goldwing, Upper Class Detailing, and Autotrendz.

I pick up my Z4 on Thursday and I have booked with ppf install with Derand Motorsport. I will be driving the car from the dealer directly to the ppf installer. We will have to compare notes when the cars are done.

Hahaha, indeed we should. Derand did a very good job for me last time (4 yrs ago), so as long as they still have good installers you should be okay.

I went with Goldwing because they gave me a better price for a full ppf and ceramic coat combo. Also, they are just 5 minutes away from my work which makes it easy to drop off the car.

Yea, the company is only as good as the installers they hire. Let’s hope for my sake they provide the same level of service that you received. When I visited the shop and looked at the Tesala they were working everything looked good. Fingers crossed.

The difference in pricing between Derand and Goldwing was only about $100. My install was only ppf on the full front and rocker panels considerably smaller job then yours.

I initially wanted to do the same job as yours but slowly started to add pieces to the job which made it more attractive to do the full ppf. So I negotiated the price for full ppf and ceramic coat which was well worth it for the size of my car.
