Need help to identify rim color code

I curbed the wheel rim of my 2018 640 GT yesterday. Want to DIY to repair with touch up paint. Need to know the paint code for the "Silverish" or "Alloy" color on the rim. Done a search, the style seems to be "648m" (correct me if I'm wrong), but unable to find the color code. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing that reference chart, it looks like "Decor Silver II" or "Ferric Grey I" to me

Thanks for sharing, I did see a few seller list this rim with "Orbit Grey" in description, but Orbit Grey seems to dark to match the silverish finish. I guess it refers to the "inner rim" of this (not sure what it's called)

Yes, I believe it is the darker accent color. Otherwise these rims are described as having a "burnished face". Which implies only painted in clear coat.

if I were matching it with the wheel color chart, I would think "Decor Silver II" as well.

I agree with the Dr. I think that is clear coat only on the polished alloy (silver). I believe you can find the true color code stamped into the back side of the rim.

I can help you with that.

There is no such external code, end of story, and anyone that tells you different just doesn't know what they're talking about.

SAI to BBS, NONE of them use car paint codes for their wheel colors, period.

The best you can do is get close, and it's all trial and error because what might match closely NEW won't match nearly as close as the paint fades, and vice versa.

The best way to touch it up is to get a new one, or live with it not being done right, and not matching.
