Parking brake / transmission release

I’m a new X130e owner. Owner’s manual mentions two ways to select neutral in case you want to push your car. One is by applying brake, then switching ON drive ready state, then select neutral, then switch OFF drive ready state. Car can pushed then, and it says that after about 35 mins parking brake is auto engaged. It mentions also another way to electronically release the transmission lock by pressing start/stop button 3 times, then apply brake, then within 30sec select neutral and then car can be maneuvered out of danger. I’m confused with what is the difference between the two methods. Does anybody know or try them before. Is the parking brake auto applied again after the second method? I understand also that the car can only be transported by loading it fully on platform or using a towing dolly. I guess the reason is because either because transmittion is locked or parking brake locked or to protect electric motor? Any assistance will be much appreciated.
