When I use search in the app it does not return anything. No matter what I search, it says "No Results". It was fine last year.

Anyone else with the same issue?

I mainly searched in the member classifieds on F80. Using it on the web gives me results, mobile app does not.

I'm on Android and the app does not show in the Play Store anymore.
My app version is 6.70

I should probably have clarified I'm on Android as well, though the app no longer shows in the play store.

Unfortunately the app won’t be in the android play store for some time. This is because of a policy change by Google that I as a solo app developer can’t meet the requirements of.

Not blaming Google in any way tho, I can see why they had to make changes as I’m assuming there are hordes of AI written spammy apps most likely being submitted these days and they (google) probably had to do something. With that said, like so many recent decisions it doesn’t affect the big players but it’s the small level guy who gets squeezed, in this case us.

It’s painful to say the least since I poured many years into this app. And tbh it was always the android side of the app that had the most freedom to experiment and learn new things to advance the app. Was very indie friendly. Unfortunatly it just isn’t indie friendly anymore and we are stuck. I could go on and on with this topic as the app is near and dear to my heart. Luckily there is no such policy change on the Apple side so the app continues uninterrupted there.

I’m holding out hope for another policy change but until then I am working on getting the app back in there but it won’t be in the foreseeable future.

All possibilities. Have to research a bit more as we don’t want to put something out there that could be unknowingly compromised. I still prefer the relative security of having the file come from the play store directly, but if there is no other choice maybe some kind of side loading thing
