Maybe I haven’t had enough coffee, but everyone is found dead and foul play is not suspected? Even the dog died?

I had no idea he was 95. What a life and career!!

Great actor. But that's indeed a very odd situation,.
Could be mutual suicide or something like that (obviously a dog can't commit suicide...)
Or a CO accident..

If they killed the dog also then I have no sympathy for them! A lot of famous actors and actresses have strange lives and rituals which don't apply to the normal public.

Pretty odd that they all died at the same time...yeah, something isn't adding up. Gotta be a suicide type thing, but why would she go? She's relatively young still and I can't believe this would be a Romeo & Juliet type thing.

Gotta be a CO incident. Sad, but it happens. That's why we have CO detectors around the house.

There was a gentleman down the road from me that he and his dog were found dead. Apparently his vehicle had remote start and somehow it got started in the middle of the night and CO2 seeped upstairs into his bedroom and killed them both. It happens.

Very sad. He was a great actor. Had read before he quit acting to write. More info will come out and we will find out what happened. As mentioned, maybe an accident. Tragic loss.

RIP Gene

All it would take is one extra press on the fob "lock" button at bedtime.

RIP Gene
I read his first book, Wake of the Perdido Star. Co-written with Daniel Lenihan. Good story.

So initially no indications of CO or other gases. Really bizarre. And it took quite a awhile for anyone to ask the authorities to go check on them. Also weird.

Odd the initial report was just him and now it's the wife and dog.

My theory: Gene was 95 and died of natural causes. Wife freaked out, killed the dog then herself so they could all be together again. Sad story all the way around, we'll see if I'm right.

That is some final destination crazy.

RIP Gene Hackman and family, what a bizarre story. Hope they get to the bottom of it.

CN: The authorities suspect some sort of gas. The front door was unlocked. They were in good health. Apart from the strewn pills, everything was in order in the home.

For me, the craziest part in all of this is that Gene Hackman was 95 years old. Holy shit where does the time go.
