For those who wash their cars what soaps are you guys using?

Do you guys use the same soap for the foam cannon as well as the bucket or do you have one for the foam cannon and another for the bucket?

Would like to see what everyone is working with.

1 soap bucket for the MF pad
1 water (dirty) bucket to rinse pad

Meguiars gold class is still pretty much unbeatable. Use it in a foam cannon, use it in your bucket, whatever you want to do with it, it works awesome. Sure, there are soaps that are better in a foam cannon, but not for the money.

I recently bought their hybrid ceramic wash, it gets really great reviews, and will be nice to refresh ceramic coatings.

Ive always used Dawn dish soap to start the wash with. Then to some Chemical guys bug and tar remover. Then finish with some CG car wash soap.

I have an old military buddy who works at Chemical guys and he always sends out a box of their stuff for birthdays and so on. So I'll use their stuff since its free.

KochChemie GSF for me. I find it works great, can be used in a bucket system, foam cannon, lance etc…. Gentle and smells pretty good.

Don’t use the Slick n Slide in the sun. It will film up, even with my DI setup.

I like Adam’s Polishes products.

I use Adam's Car Shampoo, the cheaper blue stuff. Okay to use in the sun, foams good and all round a good product.

I was looking at that as well as the Mega Foam for the foam cannon.

Thanks! Used it in the shade yesterday and it's as slick as advertised. Price point and great reviews are a big plus.

You obviously don't have ceramic coated cars.

I had very good results with Ultra Foam. One thing about Adam’s products, they smell good.
