I would drop the "sexy machine" and agree that the car should be de-squished.
Other than that great idea.

I agree with dropping the sexy machine, they should already know that!!!!! secondly I think you should take a bmw official photo of the one and make a bit transparent and have the text overlay this photo on the back side. Once we get someone we all agree on, Send it to me and I will get the ball rolling, like I said in another post, my family owns a graphics/printing company and would love to do this cheap. My dad does a lot of porsche club printing in our area so he is no stranger to the car clubs!

Ha! I think so 2
Thanks for the compliments and opinions and ideas everyone! But ok well this was just like a rough draft... But everyone wants me to remove the "Sexy Machine" portion, replace it with anything or no? Everything else on the front side besides the "Sexy Machine" is good? Throw some photos at me that youd want used on the back side... and I will also change the font... I'll try and work on it later, I'm glad yall liked the card for the most part! Thanks When everyone decides they like the final card you can definately make us the actual cards "arrutled" id like my work to really be noticed. :roundel:

I have some perfect photos at home that I wish I could send you, but here are some of my favorite photos that will require photochoppin or just jpgs from this website. The ones I have at home I will send as soon as possible, but this could be a good start. I would try to make everything on the backside fit onto one line so maybe remove the "advanced" from the first line. maybe call it "performance parts discounts"??? cause we do get discounts from vendors. "detailing advice" is a good one to put on there! everyone likes to have a clean car!
As for the front for an idear, You could use phrases from the 1addicts front page 1ADDICTS.com BMW 1-series Community Join the community and learn what it means to be a 1Addict! Invited By:

Kool!
As for the front i did use the 1Addicts catchy phrase "The worlds largest & Highest Quality Home for the BMW 1-Series.." I thought was a little catchier then "Join the community and learn what it means to be a 1Addict!" Maybe we can have one card with one Phrase that i used and a picture on the back with benefits and on a different card we can put your phrase with a different picture in the back w/ benefits.. so people can have different cards... What you think? Ill start working on the better version later today and yea send me the photos you have as well we can pick the 2 best ones to use..

I'm going for a more "Professional" yet "Sporty" look for the cards I'm creating.. I do hope my cards get to be the "Official" 1ADDICTS.com Cards though!

well I think for simplicity sake and distribution sake we should just come up with one, I dont think it will be tooo hard to come to a consensus. It seems we both have the same idea, just wording it right and getting an appropriate picture wont be hard. I have no access to photoshop at the moment otherwise I would be churning out idears! we will get this figured out soon.
Mac, That Is a sexy beautiful design! However that would require some more expensive material and more ink, just trying to keep cost down!

Thanks, I've 'borrowed' (so much nicer word that steal! :biggrin
your text and made a back for it. Not sure I'll spend any more time on it but its a good idea 135i_TT. Thanks for the suggestion and the offical kudos and cards are all yours. Arrutled, I kinda knew already when it comes to printing it would be too expensive so I totally agree with you, couldn't help myself tho Cheers Mac. (Picking it up on Monday, can't wait weeeeeeeee!) |
