DIY Ceramic to 826M wheels
hoping for some tips to make DIY coating my wheels easier. I am experienced with applying ceramic coatings, definitely not a novice. I have coated three sets of wheels previously but none with so many nooks and crannies.
wheels have been previously coated by paid installer and they did a shit job. I should actually say "they said they coated the wheels" but i wouldn't be surprised if they didnt or only did the easiest access areas, no way they did the barrel and every little corner. i will of course be removing the wheels from the car, they will be cleaned appropriately. they will be wiped with panel prep. and after about that i will already be losing motivation lol. anyone have suggestions on speeding up the application and removal of the ceramic? theres a lot of places the applicator wont fit but i assume just using the little fabric thing will be fine?? theres videos out there of people spraying on coatings... but i dont have anything that could do that. will be using Feynlab product. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks PS: i freaking hate cleaning these wheels. as an aside i watched this high end detailer saying that he tops his customers coatings up yearly with only doing a wash and decon with no polishing step. would love to hear if others are doing that as well. |
