320i V.S moded Wrangler '02
bro was driving the E90 yesterday, met his friend with his moded '02 Wrangler (headers, exhaust system) n had this conversation...
friend: hehe looks at that slow 2.0 car, wana race?? bro: nop, my car isnt a sport car... friend: chicken, u know i would smoke u bro: u might win, but not by even 1 car length.. friend: lets see bro: ok they had a 30 KM/H roll, the jeep jumped ahead, but my bro kept up with him (E90 front bumper next to wrangler's rear wheel), and after 160 KM/H, the E90 was slowly passing by the jeep, where my bro's friend slowed down... the debate was whether will the E90 will pass the jeep from 160-200 KM/H (jeep's max speed) ??? i know these 2 cars r not of the same class, but im thinking of racing him again?? what do u all think??

Yeah, sure why not. Why the hell would anyone mod a Jeep Wrangler?

they r moded for 2 reasons: 1. some of them like having a 4.0 engine (kinda big in that size of cars), they think thier cars r kinda sport cars, so they mod them so that they can beat saloon cars with small engines (like in this case), some of them even beat cars like maxima and off course any other SUVs. 2. they use power to concur sand dunes (there r alot of places with large sand dunes which attract SUVs drivers... there r also also sand dune compititions going around here (who can go up that steep sand dune in less time)

That is the craziest thing a jeep and a BMW going at it. I guess the need for speed is felt even in a Jeep.

yah they r of a completely different class, but beside the aerodynamics and the sportiness, the jeep has it all, it has 4.0L engine, manual gear, and its moded, that's what made this race possible...
