Maserati on the Street of Jakarta

A rare car in a very rare instance. Just spotted this 4 door Maserati Quatroporte today.

We have a bunch of those things here, I don't know why, I think they're pretty hideous. I see more of those than Ferraris and Lamborghinis unfortunately.

bay area has alot of these too... especially when you go to the more wealthier downtowns ie. Saratoga, Los Gatos, Palo Alto, etc.

That's funny. I feel that Ferraris are more common in here. Even the 4 seats Ferraris, I saw many times. But this one is rarer, 1st time i saw it on the street.

I guess just different preference in different country.

I'm planning on that being my next car (if my business goes well). I really love the way it looks and I've only seen one or two in Houston.

Saw my first one a couple months back here. Definetely caught my eye but I'm not in love with it. Maserati's have never really appealed to me, there have always been other cars in the same pricepoint that I like more.

its an awesome car for people that want the fun and power of a ferrari but need the 4 seats. i think its very pretty. nikki is right, there are a ton of them in south florida, especially her area.

There are a few Maseratis in the DC area, too. You see one every now and then. Also a few Ferraris... not sure which is rarer, but both are sort of a rare sight.

The hottest car I've seen in this area was a Porsche Carrera GT on Rt 123 near Great Falls VA one day.

Only saw it once, and I drive through that area all the time, so I don't know if the owner lives in this area.

a few in chicago a few in Dallas prolly see one or 2 a week. Nice car. I think its a great classy sedan.

exactly! all aston martins, ferraris, lambos and other exotics i've seen on the streets were driven by a bunch of wrinkled old men whose 25-year old girlfriends had to pull out a walker for them when they got out of their car. pathetic!

Silver one with a reddish brown interior??? I saw one at a BMWCCA NCC meet a while back... my goodness....

I have the local ferrari/lambo/maserati dealership right around the corner from me, so I see a bunch of each all the time... I like the maserati quattraporte, but I would rather have the Continental Flying Spur

... (I know, different price range)

The other maseratis in general just dont cut it for me... Id rather drive the porsche 911 turbo

It was a while back. I was sitting directly behind it at a light and couldn't believe it. I also couldn't believe how wide the rear tires were on it.

In any case, my memory is a little faded now, but I could have sworn it was yellow. At least it was, in my memory, until you mentioned silver. Now I am not so sure. Perhaps it could have been silver and I'm remembering it wrong.

[edit to add] I just Googled a bunch of pics of the Carrera GT and when I look at the yellow pictures, it brings back the memory. I am 99% sure that I'm remembering correctly -- it was yellow. This picture in particular reminds me of my awe that day. Look how freakin' wide those back tires are!

Also, I'll add that I didn't get a good look at the interior, because I was behind it. Not sure of the interior color.
