insuring your 335i coupe...

How much do think the new 335i coupe will cost to insure?

I'm with state farm and my 330ci is 220/month. I'm turning 24 in three

weeks and I don't have any tickets..

Call your agent and tell him/her you are thinking of buying the 335 and would like to know what it will cost YOU. Your agent will be happy to crunch the numbers and you will know exactly where you stand.

Insurance is so specific to the person with so many variables including driving record, age, zip code, car type, other policies, past claims, accidents, credit rating, what types of insurance you have, how much insurance you have, your insurance limits, your deductibles, discounts and many more items that are specific to each driver.

You could live next door to someone your same age driving the same car with the same insurance company and still have vastly different rates depending on many factors. That’s why Progressives online comparisons are a total joke - just a clever marketing ploy. The easiest & most accurate thing to do is to call your agent.

Good luck...they are going to want the VIN and since it is a new model and since you do not have a VIN, you might be able to get a ballpark figure at best is my guess

Very true! The higher deductible the lower the premium. Most of the time its only a small difference from 500 to 1000 but 250-0 is expensive.

Do you think that buying a shit box car for the insurance purposes and

reporting that you use your E92 as a part time car would be a big diff

in price for insurance or not. Would it be worth it?

Umm... thats issurance fraud. And god forbid something happen to your car and it was totaled an investigation would be done, and it would quickly be determined by the driven miles alone on the vehicle.

BTW, for the original poster: If you want a quote ask for a rate for a 2006 330 and 2006 M3. It will be somewhere in that ballpark but closer to the 330.
