How do you reset the Average MPG?

I tried doing it tonight but couldn't figure it out. How do you reset the average MPG and average speed settings?

Hold the BC button, when the stat you want to reset is showing.

correct. i just checked the manual.

to BMWexec. just hold it down for a few seconds when it displays the one that you want to reset until it erases it.

i think i reset mine on the radio controls. the option to reset is on the menu

so the average mpg is cumulative until you reset it? it doesnt take the avg of say the last 30 miles or so?

Yeah it is cumulative and I believe once you reset it, it takes about 13 miles to gather an average. Something like that.
