how do it take off the Steering Wheel Cover?

I'm getting mine in the next couple of days - the alcantara one - and would like to do it myself. Do i need to disconnect the battery or not? (id rather not) I'm confused as some here on the forum say I need to and some say i dont....???? It is 3 torx screws or 5?

Help please

if the posted DIY and countless other threads on steering wheel cover removal can't help you, I don't know what will.

Disconnect battery
Remove airbag
Unscrew cover (torx 3 or 5? whichever fits unless for some reason you don't have the whole set and can only buy one at a time)
disconnect multifunction buttons
