Will this work? New Ipod access..

check it out. it sends the RDS along with the music so artist info displays on the cd player. Think it works with the e90? could be a nice feature.

It's an fm transmitter so as longas you can receive FM, it will work - kinda sorta.

Naturally, fm transmitters are susceptible to other signals, esp. in metropolitan areas.

Why not wait for the BMW iPod Interface?

ugh. obviously the fm transmition will work. but thanks.
This sends an RDS signal WITH the Fm signal. and our car displays RDS. so will this show the artist, track,cd on our car. i mean, thats what its suppose to do....
Im not saying im gonna run out and buy this, i probably will wait for the MOST. but this could be an option for people that dont wanna spend money on the MOST.

fm transmitter is really poor quality, especially when there's already an aux input built into the car

would you trade sound quality for artist info?

well, it's not obvious - interference with FM transmission is likely. In addition, it's one way - no way to control the iPod.

hypothetically, if this product sent an fm and an RDS, and the RDS works. Couldnt you just like, not use the FM, and use the Aux input, but still have the RDS info. or would you have to be on the FM setting to get the RDS info
