I'm going with my friend and his kids. He has new RevII. Temp is supposed to top out at about 70F with 90% Relative Humidity.

He has a drop-in filter and R888 street/track tires. Local gas is 93 octane (R+M/2). Will keep you posted.

Good idea. I sent my friend an email to remind him to remind me to bring my camera. Will post shots tomorrow.

BTW, he's in the same business I'm in. He wants to sell his RevI.

Wish I could make the three hour drive to SGMP and see him run or line up side by side. But over six hours round trip is not a possibility right now.

SGMP? That's a 2 hour drive for me. Very tempting. Maybe another showdown with my very stock car LOL.

How crowded was it? How does it compare to other drag strips you've been to? I'm still looking for the best drag strip in the southeast.

I brought my camera but he didn't make it - had a sick kid. I made a couple of passes but it rained like a mofo the day before and all the track preparation in the world didn't help. Losing traction shifting into second is no fun. I went home and did yard work - it was a beautiful day.

You know how this works. Numbers first, then excuses after. We swarm all over the results (good or bad) as if they determine the fate of all similarly equipped cars, and in a few days we move on to the next results...

OK, my last pass was about 19 seconds and I got beat by a 350Z.
