Re-dyno'd numbers......with new spark plugs

'08 E90 335i 6AT

Mods:

V3.2
catless DPs
DCI
FMIC

Temp: ~55 degrees
Humidity: ~41%

My last attempt was botched due to faulty plugs, this time that issue is eliminated. New plugs installed 3 days prior. I have been playing around with the user TQ value all throughout the session. Please chime in with any comments or tips on how to squeeze more power out of her(I know, I need a catless exhaust).

Graph 1: Best runs on 92 oct pump gas
Stage 1 @ 90% TQ value

Graph 2: Best runs on MS109
Stage 2 @ 100% TQ value

Those numbers look right considering you have the secondary cats in . Remove them and pick up another 10 whp. Canbus integration may be good for another 10 whp as well. Then the meth set up and a good race gas map. You should have run the race gas map for the 109.

ETS did the dyno for me. They're in La Center, Washington.

I wish I had taken a picture, but being my first time changing my own plugs, I don't know if they looked like they needed replacing or not.........But I guess at least one of them did (cylinder 6 misfired a couple of times).

The plugs looked ashy/white, don't know if that means they're bad or what.....

I'm glad I found the problem to the hiccup and nothing more than some new plugs!!

I can't believe you don't have secondary cats. With numbers like those, I would've guessed you'd just forgotten to mention them. Either way, the numbers look absolutely fantastic.

Where'd you pick up the plugs? It's about that time for me.

I was saving up for suspension upgrade, but now, I guess I gotta save a bit more and use that for a catless exhaust........But I'm looking at quads, don't know which one to go with yet........Any suggestions?

I found two that I liked, the Arqray quad, or the Bastuck quad.......

I still have my secondary cats (oem exhaust......)

Time to look into a catless exhaust set up.

I picked up the plugs through Tischer BMW online. Make sure you have the socket for the plugs as well......

Thanks for all the comps!!

I will post up the official run files next week.

BTW, does anyone know how to turn up the boost on the V3.2? I've turned up the TQ value, but don't know if that turns the boost up automatically?

TIA

A shop called Forged Performance in Portland. But Rasmussen installed the redesigned DPs the second time around.

I would just take it to Rasmussen BMW, ask for Pete Perez in the Motorsports department. They're pretty mod friendly.

Ya, I like AE as well, but I figure there's less people with bastuck or Arqray? Also, I don't know what diffusor the AE quad exhaust fits........

Pretty good numbers. The race gas version of that map will make 20-25whp more since it will add in the 2-3 degree of timing that the pump gas map takes out under boost.

AE is a full exhaust, the bastuck one is only mufflers.

Good numbers!
