evolve 335i exhaust coming soon...

We have just finished the final tests on the prototype evolve exhaust. The system is from downpipes back so deletes the secondary cats. Options will be a 102mm tail pipe or quad 76mm staggered tail pipes.

We will be offering these on their own and in conjunction with a Stage 2 tuning package which will include an ECU remap and the exhaust. Once forge release their intercooler this will be used in the Stage 3 upgrade.

Here are the dyno figures....added 12 BHP and 15-20 Ft/lbs Torque to a tuned car. Car is now a healthy 392 BHP with just the remap and exhaust.

Power at flywheel

Power at wheels

It is very subtle sounding with no booming in the cabin. The final version will be a bit louder.

Prices to be released as soon as we have a final production date. Expect it to cost more than Milltek but less than Supersprint/Eisenmann. As part of the Stage 2 upgrade we will make it very attractive.

322 BHP from a standard ECU, not bad. what will happen about the rear valance for the 4 outlet?

We see them range anywhere between 300-325 BHP in standard form. This is a strong one

The lowest I have seen is 295 - this happens when the owner is using 95 octane fuel

For the quad pipes the rear valance will have to be cut unless a suitable diffuser is used.

Hi Matt

Cheques are so yesterday

I don't think we will have time develop an exhaust for the 335d as the scope for tuning the 335i is much greater and we tuned a lot more of them.

If you want a fantastic evolve 335d map then dust that cheque book off and book yourself in

Imran, graphs look good it looks like stainless steel tubing but what about the internals and welds pls?

I know you stated that it will be made louder as sounds very muted on the vid. And definately no motorway droning. I like an angry sounding exhaust (if that makes sense) under hard acceleration similar to Eisenmann race.

It is possible in conjunction with one of your maps to get the 'cough and grumble' that Aston Martins and Ford Mustang V8s make on start up?

Our aim is not to make a superloud exhaust - will leave that to Eisenmann et al. We want a subtle sound with performance gains. We are very happy with the power gains but feel the sound can be improved on.

This is just a protoype so will put more detailed pictures of the exhaust when the production model is ready. I can assure you the quality is very good otherwise we would put our name to it.

OK, sounds good The welds and internals. What are they made from pls?
Any chance of coughing (in conjunction with your remap) when the motor fires into life?
Also how much is the weight compared to stock?

We will release full details when it is ready for sale.

It is lighter than standard - don't have the weights to hand at the moment but again when the item is ready for sale all info will be provided.

Making a 335i sound like a AM or Mustang V8 with changes in the mapping? Don't think so...think you would have to buy a V8.
