Wink How do you "judge" the wealth of others?

Do you check out the car they're sporting?

Do you look at their house?

Do you even care?

Chime in BMW owners.

You don't "Judge" other people's wealth. You give them a High Five and tell them that you are working on being like them one day. Then, they invite you to play a round of golf in Maui and fly you there in their private jet.

Works like a charm every time

I judge them by how good their football team is. I'm a UofM and Detroit Lions fan, so I'm pretty low on the totem pole myself. I guess you could say I'm the Ford Focus of football fans...

don't care.

true wealth usually exhibits a great deal of humility and philanthropy. when you come onto car forums comparing dicks about stupid things like cars and houses, that's just a bunch of rich idiots, not wealth.

My closest NFL team is the Chargers.

Am I at least "Camry" status???

I remember going to the Lions game in SD a couple years ago. We were down like 38-3 at half or some shit like that. I left. I never leave sporting events early. But it was like watching a ciquecento in a drag race against a Veyron.

Why not?

Certainly owning a Ford Focus means one is poor and can't afford anything nicer, right?

I judge people by their character, not by the color of their skin... Or wait, is it the other way around??

I personally don't care about anyone else's weath but my own. Someone else's money isn't going to help me.

Some might say you're only saying that because you can't afford a Ferrari.

Even if I could afford a Ferrari or Aston, I wouldn't care about someone else's wealth. They still aren't going to help me retire.

Now if we're talking business, I do care about my client's ability to pay, etc as that directly impacts me.

You know, I've been told if you don't have a BMW, you basically can't afford one. So you should get your poor ass out of here!

Yes...of course that must mean you are poor. But I don't judge.

Seriously tho...NewSong just don't get pissed by the guys out here who make snide remarks about not owning a BMW. The truth is that an alarming majority of people on this board are barely affording their BMW. (Especially given the current state of their economy). Or their parents bought them their BMW...which doesn't count as "buying it themselves because they work hard at doing their 'chores' and stuff".

Okay I feel better about myself now. I was ready to apply for BMW select financing and just hope for the best.
