.....and if you can't be bothered to go to the dealers, try ebay.....
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-x-GENUINE-BM...1%7C240%3A1318 Bought some last year for the MV2 reps we put on the Missus' E46 Compact - they stuck well and looked OEM (how close does anybody pay attention to wheel stickers anyhow!!) |

I remember looking for ages for an original, correct type, unused, Ford cigarette lighter to put in my '93 sapphire cossy. (to replace the nasty used one of course) I'm not the only person who thinks like this on here either! |

Hahaha! (not a nuts laugh)
I'd buy expensive copy parts if need be, but why mess about buying copy stickers for £3(from dodgy unknown fleebay gypsies / post charges / not in for delivery / queueing at post office / sending back sh#te goods) when you can get 4 x OEM for £12 with a leisurely drive to your local dealer on a saturday morning? Makes sense to me. |

I think you may have discovered something that is needed as a product. Maybe even 3D. Get one deep acid-etched, make a bunch of molds of it and cast them in aluminium. Have the top surface machined for contrast and apply a clear enamel. Voila!

On the upside for OEM, at least BMW parts are payment on collection, you get to see / inspect the parts and if you don't like it or its not right, no problems, they just send it back. And you get a 2 year guarantee on all OEM parts. And our dealers will put small items in a envelope and post them to you for free (such as badges etc)... easy.
