HPFP issues in Colorado?
So here is another n00b question for the board. How many 335'ers have had problems with their HPFP running Colorado gas?
It seems like a huge number of HPFP problems come out of California. Could be CA-formula gas or could be that there are just that many more 335s there. |

I hope that Colorado has good gas because I just got orders to Fort Carson for December! I pick up my 09 335i coupe in 2 months, I'm deployed out of Germany so I'll have it on the Autobahn for a couple of months before I get to CO. How are the roads out there because I got the 230's on my shit and I think I made a mistake getting them and then going to CO. Well anyways that was off topic I'll see you all out there in like6 months or something
Until then!!!! Chris |

I agree E92_SID. By the looks of it, you might hit 100K faster then anyone here. I use to drive mine everyday but since my new job is only 2 miles away, I figured by the time the 335 warms up (I always let the car warm up for atleast 10 minutes before I drive it), I would already have been there if I just take my Harley (49CC scooter) to work.

10/06 build here and never had any problems with the HPFP. It was replaced for me at around 18k miles because of the recall through BMW.
BTW, I always fill up with only Shell or Conoco, which are both top tier appoved. http://www.toptiergas.com/retailers.html |

Yeah I love driving the car but I am not to happy about averaging so many miles. Its like a drug though. I cant resist. When I look at my driveway on a nice day and I have to choose between an 04 Dodge Dakota and an 08 335i, its hard not to choose the bimmer. But I have discovered a solution, im getting a bike! Any of you guys ride? I am thinking about either a Kawasaki 250r or a Harley Rocker C. I want the Harley but it is 20k when the Kawasaki is only 4................Sorry for going off topic.

I know what you mean, I'm sure you didn't buy your 335 just to sit there and look pretty. I'm not to worried about the mileage on mine either. My last vehicle (2000 Honda S2000) I had it for 6 years and only put 50K miles on it before I traded her in. My only regret was not being able to enjoy the car more. Thats why I drive my bimmer whenever I have the chance because when I get my Lambo, I can atleast say that I've enjoyed my bimmer. One a side note, I think you should get the Kawasaki because it will get you from point A to point B just like the Harley but 15K less. With that kind of savings, you can upgrade the turbos or wait until they come out with a single turbo upgrade for which you can bolt on a GT40 or a T88 and the really haul some ASS!!!!

07/07 build, 11,000 miles, original fuel pump. Only Shell (and I try to get the no ethanol version when I can), Conoco or Phillips 66 gas.
I guess compared to some of yours, mine is a garage queen, I've only put 3K miles on it in the last 12 months.
