M3 Owners, what kind of bikes do you have?
I noticed that on another thread, may of us have similar taste in motorcycles, and I was surprised there were as many 2 wheel finatics.
So, here's me... Ducati 748 (Race bike) and a 2006 50th Anniversary R6. Just sold my Ducati 1098 last fall... Anyone else? |

'07 Suzuki GSXR 600.... ....and looking to purchase a Ducati 848 this year. immiketoo, do you find that it's hard to carry when in full gear on your bike? My rear compartment can't store my XD9 (..off duty weapon), and my leathers are too tight. |

Kahr PM40 goes everywhere I do. It fits everything I have including my Dainese jacket which fits like a second skin. You just have to be creative about carry options...

2004 999s 54mm Termi full system. It is for sale to be replaced by a dual sport or supermotard.since I got the M,I am just not enjoying street riding. The majority of my street miles last year were in the Smokies on my buddies KTM690 not here in Ontario on my bike.

If we had road here like there are in North Carolina or Tennessee,my feelings would be very different about street riding. The other problem is that in Ontario we have a street racing law that is instant licence suspension and vehicle impound for anything over 31mph above the speed limit. One of my best rides used to be a 500 mile loop up to Algonquin Park that I used to do in 6-7 hours including a long lunch stop. Those days are long gone now.I can have as much fun on slower roads on a Motard.

I have been doing car track days & racing since the mid 70's & only got into doing the bike days in 2002.Since then I have done over 65 days and organizing some really good days that many have enjoyed,my focus is back on cars once again.I stayed away from the cars on track for about 10 years but then one of my clients organized a day at Calabogie that I took my wifes GTI to and I had a hoot!.On my bike I have allways felt the need to hold back a bit for self preservation but once back in the car I felt that I could run at 100% and the feeling was great once again.I am much more able to extract the max out of both myself & car than I could on a bike.I am much more committed to going fast in a car than the bike. But I still enjoy riding in the right circumstances.

I sold my last literbike in 1996. Does a Trek count?
I'm impressed with the number of Ducatis out there. The R1 in Yellow and Black is bad-ass. If I ever move back into my house in CA, a tricked out Monster is in the cards. |
