Exhaust help needed...

Ok, i just bought a Bastuck quad exhaust for my 08 e90. Now i havent received it yet and i started thinking that maybe i should get a new ar or riss downpipe to help things out. then i really started thinking, if i bought those two i might as well get a new midsection too.
i thought that this would be a good idea so that i could keep the stock exhaust intact just incase i had major problems with the vehicle down the road. im worried about how loud the vehicle would be and the smells from a catless system..any advise on this would be helpful.

We just put my catless AR DP's and Ulrimate Racing full length exhaust on my 335 tonight and to be honest it isn't quite as loud as i thought it might be... there was a lil smell tonight as with any new system burning in a bit but that should go away!! Good luck man...
