Seen this?
http://www.pjbonifacio.com/Twin%20Ch...gine%20Bay.jpg Anyone have more info about what's going on in there? The title of the link says 'twin charged', and that may be another turbo on the other side of the engine bay, but I don't want to say it is or isn't... In any case... it's got some big ones... -scheherazade |

It's a turbocharger/supercharger setup that supposedly barely runs. He brings it out to shows and stuff, but no dynos, no one's seen it run on the streets at max. It's a pure showcar. There are plenty of threads on it, search

I think this happened a long time ago.
I wouldn't be surprised if he just put all the hardware on, but had no tuning options at the time and simply ran the car at just above idle to move it on/off of the trailer. IF it really is just a trailer queen show car, it wouldn't even matter. I remember two other 'massive turbo' e9X cars from a while back, but I can't find the pictures. |

It looks cool but i've never seen it driving. Owner has it towed everywhere. I'm sure you can find pics of it being towed on the back of a flatbed on the forum. |

Yeah this car was debated back and forth with the original owner for some time now. He always mentioned he was going to show proof that it runs correctly but unless I missed it, it never happened.

There's some serious coin in that car. For what he put into it, that better run 9s or it's barf-o-rama time.

owner must be driving it somehow because it looks like it's still registered. I've seen a couple people try the whole turbo/supercharger combo but to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever accomplished it. Am I wrong?

Super + turbo has been successfully done.
From what I've read about it, it's not all that great in the end. A sequential twin turbo is supposedly just as good. -scheherazade |
