Anyone move from NY to Cali?
Thinking about moving to cali, I need the sun and I think life would be much better overall based on just the weather. I'm at the point in my life where I could get up and go no problems.
Anyone want to share their experience. |

I just moved from Boston, MA to Seattle, WA. Overall, I think I made the right move. Better weather, closer to home, nice twisties and elevations, best Chinese food in Vancouver.

why do I have to explain that?
for one, it is the most ethnically diverse area in the United States by far. 5-10 minutes to the beach (that alone eliminates most of the country), 30 minutes to the greatest city in the world, 15 min to the mansions of north shore, 1 hr to the tranquility of hamptons... |

I don't think nyc is the greatest city anymore. Have you been to other cities? not much different. hamptons is overrated, but again 2 months out of the yr. Most of what you say you will enjoy almost all year around somewhere hot. I used to think ny was the shit too, but not anymore, especially if you travel around. |

everybody has different opinions, I gave mine.... by the way, Queens is the most diverse county in the United States, please do yourself a favor and look it up.... |

it was founded much later than NYC and the amount of immigration into L.A. pales in comparison to that of NYC. |

wtf? i dont beleive that, but regardless if you do get more immigrants than los angeles, that doesnt mean youre more culturally diverse than us. thats like saying because you have more oranges your orange juice tastes better
