Accenture Core/Entry Level analyst position?

Hey does anyone know anything about this type of job at Accenture? I was sent an email this morning from their HR dept and they would like me to apply for it. I would love the opportunity to work for them and gain some experience, but have heard some horrow stories too.
Thanks,

they offered that same position to my buddy when we graduated. I think it was in cali and he would have to travel. the paid around 54,000 a year and i dont remember if that included any benefits, I'm sure they give all the other goodies like medicare, and stuff. but he went with a power company that ofeered him 60,000/yr. good luck!

My personal feeling on the Accenture pps (worked with them on many occassions) is that they are highly beginner-like in IT, at least the Toronto office's like that.

A great place for new grads though to get some experience on the resume...

I Have some comments - Was at accenture for 10 years in their consulting division.

Great company for entry level(I was out of college). The experience gained was amazing - Worked with different clients in Pharma, Electronics and High tech, and Energy. Far flung places like Asia (tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, HK), Europe (Basel, Barcelona), and South America (Venezuela).

If you're looking for hardcore technology development, Accenture is probably not the place. They primarily deal with and provide tech solutions to the large fortune 500 companies, so its all about business reengineering, tech solutions, etc. Gave me a great deal of corporate experience and project know how.

Pay is good/competitive. At the time I was there, the company was growing like mad and the salary increases were pretty substantial (high teens). Benefits are good and the best part is being able to live out of town and pay no rent (bank the bucks). The people and culture is fun. There's a lot of young people and its pretty much part of the culture to go out/socialize.

Bad part of the job is that you feel like a roaming gypsy/nomad. The consulting life is fun when single, but a real drag once you start a family and have an S.O.

Left several years ago to settle down.

PM me if you have any questions..
