JB3 Newbie - Map HELP

Hey guys, just picked up my new JB3 and it's going on tonight! Wanted a little help on my map selection with my current set up and the AZ heat.

I'm currently running Britalman Catbck exhaust and DCI.
91 octane is all we have out here...
It's been 100+ degrees during the day and a cool 80 or so at night...

I wanted to get some input on what map would be good for a DD. I definately want to get as much power out as i can without pushing the car too far in this heat...

Thanks for the help!

I would start with the default map 3, let the car adapt for a couple of days. Then try 4 for a couple of days, then move to 5. I just installed my JB3 a couple of days ago and started on 3 too. 4 is crazy and gonna try 5 tomorrow. I am very reluctant to go above 5 without supporting mods.

A note if you don't know:

Maps 2 and 3 are identical, 3 just has lagfix 2 doesnt.
Maps 4 and 5 are identical, again 5 has lagfix 4 doesnt.
Maps 6 and 7 are identical, 7 has lagfix and 6 doesnt.

This is on software 8D_REV4B which in turns its the final version for 1.3. You should be able to run 4 or 5 with no problems depending on your preference of lagfix or no lagfix. Just try them out, but the only way to find out really is to try them all (maps2-5) and see which one feels better for you. Would not recommend 6 or 7 with 91 octane and no DPs.

I would leave it on the default map which is map3.
With your heat and octane I would not go above default, until you get higher octane or the weather cools off.

That's if you want to be safe, if you want to push it a bit try Map4 or Map5 see how the car reacts/ likes it. Should be smooth, powerful, and of course not throw any cel/limps.
